BI MASH 1517-0002
This study is open to adults with a type of confirmed liver condition called compensated cirrhosis due to Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH). The purpose of this study is to find out how well a study medicine called BI 3802876 is tolerated in people with this condition. The study looks at how different doses of BI 3802876 are handled by the body. BI 3802876 is being developed to improve liver health in people living with this liver condition.
Participants are put in 3 different dose groups randomly, which means by chance. Participants within a group get BI 3802876 or placebo. Placebo looks like BI 3802876 but does not contain any medicine. Participants have more than twice the chance of receiving BI 3802876 than placebo. The study medicine is given as an infusion into a vein.
Participants are in the study for about half a year. During this time, they visit the study site 12 times. At 2 visits, participants get the study medicine. Doctors collect information on any health problems and take blood samples to check how BI 3802876 is handled by the body. They compare results between the groups.
Bausch RE-AHFIRM
The primary purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of larsucosterol, as determined by transplant-free survival through Day 90 in participants with severe alcohol-associated hepatitis (AH) with pre-treatment Maddrey Discriminant Function (MDF) score greater than or equal to (\>=) 32 and Model for End-stage Liver Disease (MELD) scores 21-30, inclusive.
A Phase 3 Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Pegozafermin in Subjects with Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH) and Fibrosis
The study will assess the efficacy and safety of 2 dose regimens of pegozafermin compared to placebo for the treatment of liver fibrosis stage F2 or F3 in adult participants with MASH.
A Phase 3 Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Pegozafermin in Subjects with Compensated Cirrhosis due to Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH) (ENLIGHTEN-Cirrhosis)
The study will assess the efficacy and safety of pegozafermin administered in participants with compensated cirrhosis due to MASH (biopsy-confirmed fibrosis stage F4 MASH \[previously known as nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, NASH\]).
GSK 218672 NASH
The purpose of this study is to measure improvements in liver fibrosis and inflammation with GSK4532990 compared with placebo in participants with NASH and advanced fibrosis on biopsy (F3 or F4). The study duration will be up to 76 weeks including the screening period. The treatment duration will be up to 52 weeks.
Inventiva NATiV3 NASH
This Phase 3 study is conducted to evaluate lanifibranor in adults with NASH and liver fibrosis histological stage F2 or F3
Mirum VLX-601 PBC
The purpose of this clinical research study is to learn more about the use of the study medicine, volixibat, for the treatment of pruritus (itching) associated with Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC), and to assess the possible impact on the disease progression of PBC.
